The Big Bang

The Origin of the Universe [i]

Cosmologists now accept, in this first quarter of the twenty-first century, that the universe was created by an infinitely small and infinitely dense mass that was dispersed by a Big Bang. These conclusions are based on the data gathered by the Hubble and Kepler Telescopes, launched in the late twentieth century. The Big Bang expelled hydrogen and helium into empty space. Particles on the exterior were given acceleration greater than particles near the center. The hydrogen and helium were attracted by the force of gravity and created nuclear fusion reactors known as suns or stars. Heavy metals were also thrown into empty space and were attracted to each other by the force of gravity, forming planets, asteroids and other cosmic matter, and thus forming galaxies.

The Universe [ii]

Thus, the universe is expanding at an increasing rate with the outer galaxies traveling faster than near galaxies, forming asymmetrical shape (egg shape). From our observation point – the Hubble Telescope – galaxies can be determined by their direction and distance by use of the Doppler Effect. As with sound waves, light waves exhibit this Doppler shift.  If one were standing on the platform of a train station and a fast moving train was approaching from a distance with its whistle blowing, the frequency of the sound wave would increase, raising the pitch of the sound as the train approached the viewer on the platform, and it would decrease in frequency and pitch when moving away from the viewer on the platform. When a galaxy is moving away from the observation point, the frequency of the light wave will decrease into the red light band. If the galaxy is moving towards the observer, the frequency of the light wave will increase to the blue light band. Thus, the direction and velocity of the galaxies has been determined.

The Life Cycle of Suns and Stars [iii]

The suns and stars that form the galaxy systems are created by the gravitational attraction of hydrogen and helium. They, in turn, attract the collected matter, forming a solar system consisting of planets, asteroids, comets, etc. The suns and stars will live out their lives as long as there is hydrogen to support the fusion reaction. The forces, due to gravity and fusion energy, are equal and opposite to each other, giving the sun equilibrium in size, until the sun deceases in size due to the depletion of hydrogen fuel. Gravity will then dominate and attract the remaining material into dark matter millions of times more dense than the sun.  If the sun is large enough, there will be a reactionary reaction and the sun will explode with great force, which is known as a Super Nova. The Super Nova (New Life) will repopulate itself many times over, creating new galaxies. Like biological plants on Planet Earth, galaxies have a birth, life and death and, on their deaths, they repopulate themselves many times over. The result is dark matter that is millions of times more dense than the preexisting sun, and it will provide a gravitational net that will keep the new galaxy together.

Life on Other Planets [iv]

Looking at a small section of the universe, the number of galaxies in the universe can be estimated, and it is estimated that there are about 400 billion galaxies existing at this point in time. [v]  Because planets do not emit light, these dark spots crossing in front of the suns can be observed and the size and orbit of these planets can be determined. [vi] It is estimated there are about four billion planets orbiting a sun in the Goldilocks Zone (not too hot, not too cold) and not too big and not too small, where water combined with amino acids can create life that will rapidly reproduce itself and can evolve and be advanced by creation, as it has on Earth. [vii] Paleoanthropologists have traced the evolution of ancient man to the primates, who in turn, had their origin in the ocean. However, there is no history of an evolution of the skull of ancient man (Australopithecus sediba) to the skull of the modern man (Homo species), leaving an opening for the creation of the brain of modern man by the Creator of the Universe. Although ancient man and modern man have identical bone structure from the neck on down, their skulls and thus brains are much different. [viii]

The evolution/creation of the homo species (modern man) could then take place as it has on Earth, beginning with nomadic hunters and gatherers as the planet warms, making the transitioning to agrarian societies possible. That planet would then, with the development of cities, roads and easy communications between the social hubs, be due a visit from the Representative of the Creator of the Universe (RoCoU), as the next step in this evolutionary process. The RoCoU would then teach them how to live successfully on this created Planet Earth; how to get their physical needs met on this planet, how to live with each other and how to live with other developing nations. [ix]

The Arrival of the RoCoU and the Guiding Spirit

The Guiding Spirit, provided by the Creator, shows evidence of being in the world with the creation of modern man’s brain. Socrates stated that he “was guided by a spirit that kept him from making mistakes.” Socrates was known as the wisest man of his time because he knew that he did not possess wisdom and relied on this Guiding Spirit for wisdom. [x]  The RoCoU arrived on planet Earth in the form of a seed planted into a virgin, giving Him the form of modern man. [xi] He arrived in a place and time that made it possible for His instructions to be passed to all the places on the planet. [xii] His parting command to His disciples was to pass onto the world what He had taught them while He was on planet Earth. [xiii]  He told his disciples that when He returned to His home, He would send them His Personal Counselor to guide them and teach them all that they needed to know. [xiv] He explained to His disciples that this planet Earth would come to an end like a bolt of lightning, [xv] which certainly follows the birth, live and death processes of the suns in the universe. The universe and Planet Earth are estimated to be 13.5 billion years old. Our sun is estimated to have four billion years of hydrogen fuel remaining before it implodes and likely explodes in a Super Nova, giving life to a new galaxy. [xvi]

The RoCoU needed to change His body into a form that would allow him to travel to His home in the universe. This is the reason for Him being crucified until dead, buried in a tomb, and resurrecting from the dead in a form that would allow Him to go to go home or to His next assignment on a different planet in the universe, to elevate the evolved/created modern man to the next step in this process. It’s interesting to speculate on how the RoCoU traverses the universe. The speed of light presents a barrier for particle accelerators. As accelerated electrons approach the speed of light, the electrons gain mass and slow down. Therefore, the new body form of The RoCoU must be able to transverse the universe at speeds in excess of the speed of light. At this point in time, the farthest galaxies are estimated to be 400 billion light years in distance (the distance a corpuscular light wave can transverse in one year from planet Earth).  Therefore, there must be other laws of physics that can be applied once on the other side of the “Speed of Light”.

Introduction

As of late, there are several incidents in this first quarter of the twenty-first century that involve using Christianity as an offensive weapon.  The Representative of the Creator of the Universe (RoCoU) visited planet Earth twenty centuries ago and used parables to teach us that peace on this planet Earth can be obtained by “negotiating a workable compromise.”   This is a negotiating process that results in an agreement between individuals, organizations and nations and that works for all parties concerned.[i]

Case Study 1

The USA sought to oust the dictator of Iraq and did so effectively.  The overthrow of the dictator was justified from the fear that weapons of mass destruction were being constructed.  The driver for this operation was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the USA Armed Forces.  This was someone more knowledgeable of the military might of the USA than of negotiating a workable compromise.  However, the government installed a replacement for this dictatorship and, in turn, ousted the Islamic sect that was previously in power under this dictatorship. This resulted in their being disenfranchised from their home country.

The disenfranchised military members left their homeland with their weapons they possessed as being a part of the dictatorship’s army.  These disenfranchised military members formed their own group now known as ISIS-ISIL.  This new group rightly blamed the USA for their disenfranchisement and made their demands clear in a barbaric fashion. They did not want the USA involved in their objective to establish a home nation for this group in Iraq and Syria.

While under public pressure, the leadership of the USA retaliated against ISIS-ISIL with military air forces.  The USA leadership had an opportunity to negotiate a workable compromise at this time but instead chose to retaliate with force, and they did so under the label of Christianity.  ISIS-ISIL then retaliated against soft targets in Europe and, using propaganda on the internet, was able to influence USA citizens to retaliate against soft targets in the USA.  As they see the USA as a Christian nation, all citizens of the USA qualify as a soft target.

This progression of the USA targeting hard targets and ISIS-ISIL targeting soft targets has now escalated past the point of the present leadership of the USA to be able to negotiate a workable compromise with ISIS-ISIL.  A change in leadership with another leader not capable or experienced in negotiating workable compromises would effectively just be a change in the face of the leadership and would not result in a policy change from military action to negotiating a workable compromise. The RoCoU taught us during His visit twenty centuries ago to live in peace with our neighboring nations.  This leaves the only solution to peace as impeachment or resignation of the President of the USA, which would send a clear message to ISIS-ISSL that the USA is ready to negotiate a workable compromise.

Case Study 2

The leadership of a small local independent church was following the examples given in the New Testament of the Bible to guide and organize their church.  When their New Testament theology was threatened by the discovery of a scientific explanation of the events that were reported in the four Gospels and in the Acts of the Apostles of this New Testament, the leadership chose to take offensive action to protect their religious tradition.

What could be the possible reasoning behind this aggressive offense by church and state?

  • The USA leadership was pressured by public opinion to take military action against ISIS-ISIL because of their barbaric method of sending a message to the USA to stay out of their fight.
  • The leadership of the USA mistakenly thought that an aggressive military action was consistent with Christian values.
  • The Commander-in-Chief’s responsibility is given to the President, when instead it should be delegated to a much wiser panel of mature statesmen (not the Joints Chiefs of Staff, as they have a conflict of interest, which was demonstrated by the invasion of Iraq).
  • Christian leadership in the church has become a professional Christian role. Professional Christians have a conflict of interest in their churches (Protestant), as they must maintain continued funding by a fickle membership to ensure the continuity of their salary.  The use of laypersons to perform leadership duties in the church mitigates this conflict of interest and would lead the way for debate on the Gospel in the church.  In another major non-Protestant denomination, this conflict of interest is mitigated by a corporate style of leadership.  In this case, it is a follow-the-leader style of church with a hierarchy of church leaders.  For this reason, the idea of open debate is unheard of in this denomination of the Christian church, as final authority rests with their chosen leader.
  • Debate in the church has been discouraged dating back to the Apostle Paul. Paul knew he was right even if he was not[ii] and the other orators were declared unreliable by Paul. [iii] Any interpretation of the Gospel other than that defined by the Apostle Paul was and is an imposter.
  • The RoCoU, on the other hand, stressed the use of negotiating a workable compromise to resolve differences of opinion in the church, in society microscopically and between nations macroscopically. [iv] Certainly he would have supported open debate in the church over the closed church doctrine that now exists in most present day churches.
  • A scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it,” – Max Planck. [v] So it must also be true of a “New Paradigm in Christian Thinking.”

International Relations

On the subject of international relations, here is a quote from the Teacher of Teachers, the Representative of the Creator of the Universe, who visited this planet Earth two thousand years ago, on the importance of “negotiating a workable compromise”:  “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king.  Will he not first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?  If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace.” Luke 14:31-32 NIV.

The History Resulting in ISIS-ISIL

The President of the USA had an opportunity to “negotiating a workable compromise” with the newly formed ISIS-ISIL, when the Sunni Muslims expressed a ligament complaint about being disenfranchised from Iraq by the puppet government and Prime Minister of Iraq, put into power by the USA when it overthrew the existing Sunni government.  The President instead stated, “I am going to put a coalition of nations together and defeat ISIS-ISIL.”

The President of the USA has initiated air strikes against ISIS-ISIL troops and “hard targets” in Iraq and Syria, and has conducted drone strikes to eliminate leaders of ISIS-ISIL. ISIS-ISIL was given the label “terrorist” to justify eliminating them from this planet Earth.  As ISIS-ISIL has responded with attacks against “soft targets,” the rhetoric has progressed from defeating ISIS-ISIL to genocide of this militant group of – yes – people.

The Unseen Forces

Sometimes it is not what you see that is important, but what you don’t see that can prove to be the demise of the attacking nation.  How many Sunni Islamic people are there are on this planet Earth?  Has it not been considered that this militant fraction of Islam is being supported by other unseen Sunni Muslims?  After all their complaints, that the USA was the cause of their being disenfranchised from their own country was a valid complaint.  Yes, maybe they expressed their anger at the USA and their desire for the USA to stay out of this conflict in a barbaric inappropriate way, but is the USA using appropriate measures to mitigate this situation by the use of the most powerful military force on planet Earth to eliminate ISIS-ISIL from this planet Earth?

The Christian Issue

As the President of the USA has acted against this militant group under the label of “Christian,” the President is representing the morals and mission of this country as Christian values.  Therefore, everyone in the world who wears the label of Christian is a target for this militant Islamic group as a “soft target”.  Because we live in the USA and the USA is considered a Christian nation, every person in the USA is wearing a target on their backs as a “soft target”.

ISIS-ISIL has demonstrated their ability to hit “soft targets” and have left numerous individuals dead and wounded in the streets of Paris, Brussels, and California, and have brought down a civilian Russian airplane killing hundreds of individuals.  They are advancing in their technology and stealth operations, they are using effective  propaganda on the Internet, recruiting fighters with their global JIHAD mission and are advancing in all areas over this planet Earth.

A New Direction for the USA

We all make mistakes, and sometimes those mistakes cause even larger mistakes until the process ends in the demise of those making the mistakes.  Sometimes people have been groomed from birth to think they can have everything they want, and when they get into a power position like the President of the USA, this grooming of getting what they want continues.

Learning to “negotiate a workable compromise” begins in the family of origin.  One needs to grow up negotiating with their siblings and sharing with their siblings.  Those who miss out on this early training do not develop the skill to “negotiating a workable compromise”.    Unless an intervention takes place in adulthood and intensive training in the skill of “negotiating a workable compromise” is accomplished, they will go to their grave lacking this simple skill that could have saved countless lives.

Remove and Replace the President of the USA

It will do little good to replace our President with another President who also did not develop this skill of “negotiating a workable compromise”. (Note the key word “workable” for negotiating compromises that result in “I win, you lose” does not work for all concerned, and is therefore not workable.)  The field of candidates for the President of the USA and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces does not look promising for experienced “negotiators of a workable compromise”.

The Nest Step to Obtain Peace on Planet Earth

There is a way forward that does appear to hold promise. The scenario is that the House of Representatives and the Senate confront the President of the USA with the option of being impeached or resigning.  A voluntary resignation of the President in the best interest of the nation would result in the Vice President assuming the duties of Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, making a strong statement that the USA is changing directions in regard to ISIS-ISIL. This Vice President appears to have significant experience in “negotiating workable compromises” in the Senate and in his family of origin.  “Biden was instead a leading advocate for dividing Iraq into a loose federation of three ethnic states.[i] This is certainly a first step in “negotiating a workable compromise”.

The new President would have a few months to “negotiating a workable compromise” with the leaders of Iraq and Syria to find a homeland for ISIS-ISIL, with concessions from ISIS-ISIL to cease and desist from attacking “soft targets” everywhere on planet Earth.  If the new President can accomplish this task before the election of another candidate to the office of President of the USA in November of 2016, he may well be the best choice for this office.  This scenario has nothing to lose and everything to gain.  If a resolution is not found by November, we will elect a new President; if he accomplishes this mission, the existing Vice President could very well be elected by the people to the office of President of the USA and we would have a President with experience in “negotiating a workable compromise”.  If he does not accomplish this mission by the end of the year, he will at least have set us on a path to world peace.

Introduction

There are many factors that cause conflict in the world, but one of the largest divides between people on a microscopic social scale and between nations on a macroscopic social scale is religion.  Religion can be divided into two parts: faith and tradition. The difference between faith and tradition is that faith does not need to be defended, protected, preserved or expanded, while Tradition must be defended, protected, preserved and expanded.  The promotion of tradition can be by peaceable means or by aggressive armed conflict.  Faith is something that can be shared with others but only by the personal testimony and by example of/by the faithful.

The Visit by the Representative of the Creator of the Universe (RoCoU)

Planet Earth received a visit by the Representative of the Creator of the Universe (RoCoU, a.k.a. Jesus) in the Common Era (C.E.) (in common terms) or the Era after the Birth of our Lord Jesus (in religious terms). The RoCoU came to planet Earth in the most advantageous time and place.  He came when the Homo sapiens had developed to an agrarian society, making the transition from “hunters and gatherers” due to a warming climate moving from an Ice Age.[i]  The Romans had conquered much of the known world and had built roads that made communications from community to community possible.  The RoCoU arrived into a culture that was a monotheist society, making known the Creator of the Universe more possible versus a society that was multi-theist, as was most of the known world at this time.

The purpose of the visit by the RoCoU is best described in the book of Luke in the Book of Books, the Bible.  Luke was writing as a journalist reporting to excellent Theophilus, a person or a group of persons. [ii] He not only interviewed eyewitnesses of the events that took place during this visit of the RoCoU, but was an eyewitness himself in his travels with Paul on his missionary journeys as reported in the Book of Acts, a.k.a. Luke II.  More insights can be obtained in the Book of Mark, as Mark was writing as a historian and in haste, so he was direct and did not offer any interpretation of the events. He just recorded the events for history.  From the accounts of Luke, we see that the RoCoU was on planet Earth to teach the Homo sapiens how to live life successfully on this planet and that Homo sapiens’ existence on this planet Earth will be finite, as planet Earth’s existence will be finite.

The Resurrection Problem

The Resurrection of the RoCoU, a.k.a. Jesus, has been interpreted through history as a religious event. He died for our sins, was resurrected from the dead as a forecast of our own resurrection, and He ascended into Heaven as a forecast of our own ascension into Heaven. [iii]  It is important to note that Paul the Apostle was a Jew’s Jew, an Israelite’s Israelite and an expert in Jewish Law.  He was chosen to represent the RoCoU (Jesus) to the Jews and the Gentiles (non-Jews) because he was persecuting the followers of the RoCoU by Jesus Himself in a very dramatic way, and he had the leadership personality and skills to accomplish the mission of establishing the “Living Church” of the RoCoU and to accomplish the mission of the RoCoU on planet Earth. [iv]  Paul, therefore, was humbled by the RoCoU and he put the focus of the Gospel message on the RoCoU himself and tied this event to the Jewish religious teachings of the time.

The RoCoU, however, put the focus of his message as being totally independent from – not tied to or a progression of – the Jewish religion.  “He told them this parable: ‘No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined.  No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’’” This is clearly a teaching of a “Paradigm Shift” which is a term that was not coined until the seventeenth century by the Philosopher Immanuel Kant and Thomas Kuhn in 1962. This term was first applied to the paradigm shift of the mathematics of the Greeks and to Newtonian Physics, and was later applied to social science by H.L Handa and to the paradigm shift of Christianity by Hans Kuhn. [v]

In general, a Paradigm Shift is a new way of thinking or a new way of understanding or acting.  The New Paradigm is totally independent from – not tied to or a progression of – the existing Paradigm. Therefore, the message brought to planet Earth by the RoCoU was indeed a Paradigm Shift from the Jewish Religion, which was the religion of the Homos sapiens where the RoCoU made His appearance on planet Earth.

The Return of the RoCoU to His Home Base

The RoCoU came to planet Earth in the form of the existing Homo sapiens on planet Earth by the immaculate conception of Mary, His surrogate mother.  He was raised in the Jewish society to which he was born and had complete knowledge of this Jewish religion and tradition.  To return back to His home base somewhere in the universe, He needed a change in form that would allow him to make that transition.  If He were to be interned on this planet as a corpse, he would not be able to return to His home base and go onto His next assignment, another planet, like the planet Earth in the “Goldilocks Zone,” to advance the life that has evolved on that planet as it did on planet Earth.  Therefore, the death, resurrection and the ascension of the RoCoU was necessary for him to continue His work in the universe created by the Creator of the universe – His Father.

The Science behind the Visit of the RoCoU

Astrologers have determined that there are approximately four billion other planets like Earth in the universe.  These plants are in the “Goldilocks Zone,” which means they are not too hot, not too cold, and are not too large and not too small. And given the possibility that water exists on these planets, which along with amino acid [vi] are the two requirements to produce life on these planets, all the other elements to create life are readily available in the universe (a.k.a. “star dust”). The conclusions that can be drawn from this data are that the RoCoU may have a lot of planets like planet Earth to visit.  That makes planet Earth a very small number amongst all of its peers.  Therefore, planet Earth is not just a singular miracle as it has been reported in the past.  Astro physicists estimate that the sun has about four billion years of fuel left to burn, and then it will extinguish and life and the planet Earth will cease to exist in this solar system.  The RoCoU stated the end time would come like a “Bolt of Lightning.” [vii]

Negotiating a Workable Compromise is Key to World Peace

The RoCoU stated that negotiating a “workable compromise” was one of the most import things to do to be reconciled with an adversary.[viii] Only children, or children who are widely separated in age or distance from their siblings (functional only children), have the disadvantage of having grown up in their family of origin without near-in-age siblings and not gaining the natural ability to negotiate a workable compromise.  These special children, who are becoming more numerous in our and other nation’s societies, have also shown themselves to be world leaders.  There have been five Presidents of the USA, including our present President in this first quarter of the twenty-first century, as well as the leader of Russia, who have not developed the natural skill of negotiating a workable compromise. Who knows how many other world leaders did not have an opportunity to develop the natural skill of negotiating a ‘Workable Compromise’? Their communication style incudes statements like, “I want this” and “I want that,” and they usually got what they wanted in their family of origin and this communication style carried over into adulthood.[ix]  Being the oldest sibling with a near-in-age same sex sibling also tends to show an aggressive communication style and does not demonstrate they learned how to negotiate a workable compromise in their family of origin.  Learning to negotiate a workable compromise, once majority has been obtained, often comes only with intervention and intensive training.

The Effect of Divorce on World Peace

Looking at world peace on a microscopic scale leads to exploring the changing families of origin.  Sociologists have presented three perspectives on the cause of the increasing divorce rate in the USA and Western Europe, as only Japan has been able to minimize divorce and hold families together under the same roof.  The three perspectives are:  Symbolism, Functionalism and Conflict Theory. Taking Religion into account, a fourth perspective would be the effects of religion on the rate of divorce.  All of these four perspectives must be taking as parts of the whole, since each perspective only gives a partial view of the changing societies of the world.

Symbolism Interaction

Symbolism interaction is a microsociological examination on small-scale patterns of social interaction.  Its focus is face-to-face interactions and how people use symbols to create social life.  Industrialization and urbanization change marital roles and lead to a redefinition of love, marriage, children and divorce. The increasing divorce rate is explained in terms of changing symbols (or meanings) associated with both marriage and divorce.  Changes in people’s ideas—about divorce, marital satisfaction, love, the nature of children and parenting and the roles of husband and wife—have put extreme pressure on today’s married couples.  No single change is the cause, but taken together, these changes provide a strong ‘push’ toward divorce. ” [x]

Functional Analysis

“The central idea of functional analysis is that society is a whole unit made up of interrelated parts that work together.  Society is viewed as a kind of living organism.  Just as a biological organism has organs that function together, so does society like an organism. If society is to function smoothly, its various parts must work together in harmony.  The group is a functioning whole, with each part related to the whole.  Whenever we examine a smaller part, we need to look for its functions and dysfunctions to see how it is related to the larger unity.

The family has lost many of its traditional functions, while others are presently under assault.  Especially significant is that economic production is no longer a cooperative, home-based effort, with husbands and wives depending on one another for their interlocking contributions to a mutual endeavor.  Husbands and wives today earn individual paychecks, and increasingly function as separate components of an impersonal, multinational, and even global system.  When outside agencies take over family function, this makes the family more fragile and an increase in divorce inevitable.  The fewer functions that family members have in common, the fewer their ‘ties that bind,’ and these ties are what help see husbands and wives through the inevitable problems they experience.” [xi]

An early and similar living organism view of society was applied to the Christian Church by the Apostle Paul. “Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” [xii]

Conflict Theory

Applying conflict theory to explain why the U.S. divorce rate is high, conflict theorist look at men’s and women’s relationship in terms of basic inequalities—men dominate and exploit, while women are dominated and exploited.  They also point out that marriage reflects the basic male-female relationship of society and is one of the means by which men maintain their domination and exploitation of women.

Conflict theorists see marriage as reflecting society’s basic inequalities between males and females.  Higher divorce rates result from changed male-female power relationships, especially as wives attempt to resolve basic inequalities and husbands resist those efforts.  From the conflict perspective, then, the increase in divorce is not a sign that marriage has weakened but, rather, a sign that women are making headway in their historical struggle with men.” [xiii]

Religion and the Rise in Divorce Rate

Following the lines of conflict theory with women gaining power in the U. S., religion is playing an important function with the diversity of religions in the U.S.  In western nations, the percentage rate of births to unmarried mothers (UMM) is increasing (from greatest to least of UMM rates is: Sweden, Denmark, France, United States, Great Britain, Canada and Germany).  Only the monotheist nations Italy and Japan have low UMM rates. [xiv]  Women have been gaining power; states have accommodated this change in the power structure of marriage with community property laws, no-fault divorce, and amicable attorney guided divorce.

A Lesson from History

“King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites.  They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, ‘You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.’ Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.” [xv] Historically this number of wives may have become inflated due to the verbal nature of passing down historical information in this time period, as there was not a great many people living in this area in this time period.

Effects of Men Marrying Wives of a Different Religion

There are several instances in which men find themselves married to a woman whose religious beliefs become objectionable.  This usually happens when the husband or mate attains the age of thirty-five to thirty-nine.[xvi]  At this age a maturation process begins [xvii] and the religious teaching of their youth (often from their mother) kicks in and they make a major life changing decision to follow the religion of their youth, which is now in conflict with the religion of their mate.  But as seen in Solomon’s case, these women do not change their religion, at least not easily.  Women are governed under different rules of life than men. They do not seem to go through this mid-life transformation; they have their own bodily changes at about the age of fifty.

In this changing of religions situation, mothers often take the position that they must protect their children form the heretical teaching of the new religion of their mate.  In community property states and no-fault divorce states, this can lead to some dicey situations and long discussions in courts, about the future of the children, and may result in court orders in regard to child custody.  Our courts do not seem to have the wisdom given to Solomon [xviii] when it comes to establishing what is best for the family, but they usually follow the letter of the law which does not put much substance in negotiating a workable compromise.

The Path to World Peace

What then is the “Path to World Peace?”  The Path to World Peace has two roads to follow.  Route one is to come to terms with the visit of the RoCoU to planet Earth twenty plus centuries ago and come to grips with the notion that He did not come to Planet Earth to set Himself up as a person or deity to be worshiped, but rather He came to instruct us how to live successfully on this planet Earth. [xix] This, in effect, was part of the evolutionary process of the Homo sapiens species.

The RoCoU taught that the teachings he was bringing to us was not tied to, in conjunction with, or a progression of anything that had preceded His visit.  “One does not put new wine into an old wineskin. The new wine is too volatile and will burst the old wineskin and he will lose both the new wine and the old wineskin.  New wine must be put into new wineskins.[xx]

Regarding The Path to World Peace, the RoCoU taught two parables that He hoped would be understood by his disciples and handed down through the generations.  Unfortunately His disciples were not at the development stage that they could understand these parables. They themselves were caught up in a religious society and could not separate their thinking in religious terms from that of scientific terms.  Parable 1, (One-on-One Peace): “As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled on the way, or your adversary may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.” [xxi] Parable 2, (Nation-to-Nation Peace): “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.” [xxii]

The Path to World Peace: Negotiate a Workable Compromise with your personal adversaries and with other nations that have a different view of the world than your own nation.  Accept the overwhelming evidence that planet Earth is but one of a billion or so other planets like Earth and the RoCoU paid us a visit in a special place that was most advantageous for Him to get His message to the world’s inhabitants.  The RoCoU’s message was to teach us how to live on this planet Earth peacefully with other people and other nations, and these teachings were based on science not religion.  “People who are unable to understand perfectly both the Bible and the science far outnumber those who do understand them.” – Galileo (1564-1642).

There is one caveat to negotiating a workable compromise.  Most of us grew up in our family of origin with another sibling(s) somewhat close to our own age (within five years).  We learned naturally how to negotiate a workable compromise and how to share with another sibling.  Only children and those with distant siblings (greater than five years) did not receive this natural training to share and negotiate a workable compromise.  As a result, they got most of everything they wanted without outcries from their siblings, resulting in a communication style of “I want this” and “I want that,” and they usually got what they wanted.  They never outgrew this early training.

Food For Thought

Our greatest economic competitor, China, has a one-hundred percent national population of people age about thirty-five and younger, in this first quarter of the twenty-first century, that are only children and are coming into power positions in their country. This could prove challenging for leaders of the world’s nations to deal with since they would have little training in how to negotiate a workable compromise and would be accustomed to getting everything they want.  If the USA continues to elect only children as their President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, this could be devastating to the USA, as neither nation would have leaders with the natural training to share and negotiate a ‘Workable Compromise’.

The Mirror Image of Christianity

In a recent broadcast by “Frontline” on PBS, interviews and strategies of ISIS were shown.  The ISIS strategy is to make Islam the world religion and the use of arms will be used to bring about this change in the world’s societies.  Their children start the education process as young as four years old.  If they are old enough to manage the use of a handgun, they qualify for training as an ISIS Evangelist.  The youth are indoctrinated into the ISIS theology and, as they are able, taught how to use more sophisticated weapons to accomplish the ISIS mission.  This ISIS doctrine is to do what God wants them to do and that is to make Islam the world religion.  They live their lives to please God.

Christianity

Take out the weapons and what is left is the mirror image of Christianity.  Or can we take out the weapons?  Christians no longer use just simple handguns or even machine guns; they use war planes to conduct highly accurate air strikes against the so called “Terrorist.”  Putting a label on someone to dehumanize them is the first step in genocide operations.  As ISIS uses simple weapons like knives, IUDs and automatic weapons on “soft targets” (unarmed civilian targets), the Christian nations employ their advanced weapons against “hard targets” (those of military interests).  ISIS then responds with more attacks on soft targets.  The Christian nations respond with more air strikes.  Around and around we go in this never ending “Do Loop” (a computer programing term for a program that continually repeats itself with a “Do” command).  But the Christians are doing what they think God wants them to do and they are living their lives to please God; a mirror image of ISIS.

Case Study

For an example of putting their belief in pleasing God as preeminent over their relationships with others of God’s children, see the recordings of events in the journals of Luke in Chapter 5 of the Book of Acts of the Apostles in the Book of Books, The Bible.  A short synopsis of this event was that the Apostles were in the process of establishing a socialist organization that would take care of the poor and widows among them.  Peter, the leader of the Apostles in this time period, demanded that everyone contribute their resources to this socialist cause.  When a husband and wife team had sold their property and only given the Apostles a portion of the proceeds from this sale of their capitalist profits, Peter publically renounced them one by one as sinning against God.  Both of the members of this capitalist team died on the spot, probably from heart failure at being accused of sinning against God.  Peter erroneously put living his life to please God over the lives of the other children of God.  This same phenomenon of putting their worship of God over their relationship with other of God’s children can still be observed in the Christian societies all over the world.

Where to Go from Here

Commentators are suggesting the Christian nations send in ground troops to wipe ISIS off the map, but ISIS theology is now all over the map.  They want ISIS to flee, but flee to where?  ISIS has its beginnings from those who were disenfranchised from their homeland in Iraq by the puppet government the Christian nations put in place after the removal of the existing government in Iraq. The invasion of Iraq by Christian nations is now considered, by some national crises troubleshooters, as the stupidest foreign policy that has ever been put forth by these Christian nations.  We may not like what some of these national dictators do in their own countries, but it is not our business to put these dictators out of business by the use of our military forces.  The way that Jesus taught to take care of these issues was by prayer and oratory, teaching them about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Founding Fathers of the USA went to great lengths to ensure that religious organizations did not have political power or the use of the military forces to accomplish their religious goals. There is a long tradition of a fuzzy line between church and state to ensure that religions cannot force people into their religious beliefs.  However, in the exercise of our political power in international relations, we helped establish a religious nation and helped to arm them to the level of a nuclear nation, making a religious nation with political and military power.  We called this new nation Israel.

This new nation based on religion upset the balance to power in this region.  When this region was under the Ottoman Empire before World War I, the Ottoman Empire had undergone a culture revolution similar to the French and English culture revolutions.  The Sultan had advocated and people were allowed to choose their own destiny.  Several ethnic groups: Jews, Turks, Arabs, Palestinians, etc. resided in this area for centuries and had learned to live together in a somewhat harmonious state.  Difficulties in this area resulted from the Russians purging the Jews from Russia.  Some of these Jews immigrated to their ancient homeland and upset the balance of power and harmony in this area.  The new immigrants from Russian not only did not know how to farm in this new climate, as it was much different than the farming in Russia, but they did not know how to relate to the other ethnic groups who had lived in this land for centuries.  Turmoil was the result of these new Jewish immigrants into their ancient homeland.  After World War II, the Christian nations chose to make this ancient homeland of the Jews their own officially recognized nation.  The turmoil in this region continues into the first quarter of the twenty-first century, as there is now a religious nation armed to keep this land to themselves and exclude the other ethnic groups who also claim this land as their ancient homeland.

The Solution to Peace in the World

As long as we continue to pit religion against religion, the best we going to end up with is a continued argument about whose religion and whose God we serve.  A close look at the teachings of Jesus shows that He was indeed ahead of His time.  He knew more about science than all the scientists now on Earth.  We are still in our infancy in learning what Jesus already knew.  He just could not teach all that He knew to a people that could not yet understand his teachings.  A college professor does not enter into a lecture hall and teach their students all that they know.  No, they teach their students what they think they are capable of understanding at that point in time.   Anyone who has studied and been involved in one of the applied science should recognize that Jesus was teaching the people of his day about applied science.

There is an axiom in philosophy that states that, “Once you have chosen who to ask the question, you have already determined the answer.”  If you ask a religious person like the Apostle Paul about the Gospel of Jesus, you are going to get a religious answer, because Paul was an exceptional authority on Jewish religion.  If you ask a present day applied scientist about the Gospel of Jesus, he probably would answer in scientific terms.

Experimental Science has only been around for about four hundred years.  Experimental Science is the science that proves or disproves Theoretical Science theories. Experimental Science was introduced into the world by Galileo, who used his handmade telescope to produce data that proved the Copernican heliocentric theory, that the Earth rotated about the Sun and not the contrary that the official church subscribed to.  Galileo’s reward for this discovery by the church, which had political power, was life imprisonment, which was relegated to house arrest for the five remaining years of his life.  Applied Science is the science that applies what we have learned about science to solving the problems and issues of the day and has grown into the technology that is all about us in this first quarter of the twenty-first century.

It is of no wonder that the people that Jesus was teaching about applied science could not comprehend what was being taught to them; the Applied Sciences had not yet been discovered by man.  As has been the case all through the history of man, man has made a religion out of things and events when he did not understand the supporting science.  An astrophysicist said, “Science tells you the truth whether you like it or not”.  Religion is something one chooses to believe, this can be caused by many various reasons, including: coercion, inheritance, crowd psychology, social pressures, family pressures, a means of saying in business and earning a living, indoctrination from youth, or evangelized by circumstances and oratory arguments.

The solution to peace in the world then seems obvious: teach the world about the science behind the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (or your Personal Counselor as Jesus called the Holy Spirit).

We got Trouble, Trouble, Trouble, Right here in the USA it starts with E-P-E-W and that stands for “Equal Pay for Equal Work”, ver. 1.0.3

The Top Gun National Crises Troubleshooter, Retired

7/9/2015

Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus

We hear the cry at every opportunity, “Equal Pay for Equal Work.” The idea of equal sexes needs some discussion. If men and women were equal in every way, our Homo sapien race would become extinct in one generation. We almost accept the fact that women can do things a man cannot do. Are men really from Mars and women from Venus?i

The first obvious item is growing and giving birth to a baby. I’m sure the science is on the horizon for man to grow and birth a baby, but it has not yet been developed – thank God! The second observed difference by women and some men is a woman’s intuition. Women know they think intuitively. Thirdly, women seem to have the ability to read men. I cannot even come close to counting the number of interactions that I have had with a husband and wife team (partners) and heard the wife advising her husband on what I was really saying, what I was really trying to accomplish, and what my motives were! I have almost reached the point of refusing to discuss business transactions or have any discussions with a man when his female partner is in on the conversation. Fourthly, women seem much more in-tune to emotions than men.

Case Study Emotions:

My partner has strived to protect some dead person’s reputation rather than look at the facts from an analytical point of view and learn something about “Proactive Defensive Driving and Passive Defensive Driving” from analyzing the situation that cost this dead person their life. Driving to the far right as possible and waiting for a drunk driver to come to his senses and move over to his right lane is passive defensive driving, and is what cost this father of her lifetime best friend his life and endangered everyone else in the car. A proactive defensive driver would have kept his car moving, as did the driver in this case, and move over to the left lane when it became obvious the other driver was not going to move his car over to his assigned lane (his right lane) and avoid the accident! Why put so much emotional energy in saving a dead person’s reputation when she has a live person sitting across the table from her, and this person has enough experience, in this situation, that could be shared and she could learn something about how not to end up dead from being in the same situation as this dead person to whom she is emotionally tied!

Men Have Skills Women Do Not Have:

Is it that difficult for women to acknowledge that men are capable of doing things a woman cannot accomplish? Outside of muscular power and heavy lifting, and fixing everything around the house, are there other differences that women need to acknowledge in men. The best that my partner can come up with when something needs to be repaired around the house is to try and come up with a name of a professional that can be hired to do the job! What about men’s natural troubleshooting skills? Are these to be ignored by the women? Unless of course they need him to troubleshoot a situation – then they remember our troubleshooting skills. Let’s look at the skills of rational thinking, analytical and deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills that at least some men possess. And let’s not forget “Autonomous Reflection” skills. To date no woman has showed herself to be an Enlightenment Philosopher. Women have been students of philosophers, but have not shown they are capable of the analytical thought process that was recorded and established by Rene` Descartes in the later part of the 17th century as a method to determine the truth, rather than being told what was the truth by the civil and religious leaders of his time. Since the discovery of this autonomous reflection process, many philosophers have engaged this process.

In the late 17th and 18th centuries, these philosophers became known as the Enlightenment Philosophers. The truths that these Enlightenment Philosophers ascertained influenced Thomas Jefferson to write the Declaration of Independence of the of the United States of America as he was directed to do so by John Adams, as Adams was a lawyer and had oratory skills and Jefferson had the skill of prose. The English Enlightenment Philosophers initiated the “Bloodless Revolution” in England. The French Enlightenment Philosophers initiated the French Revolution and a lesser known revolution in the Ottoman Empire. There are some notable women who have initiated their own revolution including Golda Meir (Israel), Carrie Nation (the temperance movement), and Susan B. Anthony (right for women to vote), and many other women, but none who has come forward as an Enlightenment Philosopher.ii

Women have Capabilities that Men Do Not Have:

The cries for equality in the military were heard loud and clear by this writer when in a night class in Social Science. The subject was on women in a combat role in our military. I introduced the thought given to us by Sam Houston, Texas Ranger who defeated Santa Anna and gave us Texas. He said, “There is no honor in waging war against a woman.” This may have been in response to his wife filing of divorce, but should apply equally for a military combat situation. A young military age young woman stands up and declares, “I can do anything a man can do.” The instructor asked her if she had heard what he had said. Obviously her mind was closed to anything that would stand in her way to compete equally with men in the military. That may be the case but men cannot do everything a woman can do.

In WWII, Adolf Hitler immersed the youth of Germany in Nazism, and that taught them that it was of great honor to die for the country and its Supreme Ruler. The Allies were forced to shoot and kill these boys and some girls ages eight to eighteen because, as long as they had the means to fight, they fought to the last boy or girl. Regular German armies would surrender when they saw they were greatly outnumbered and out gunned. Not so with Hitler’s youth; they fought to the last boy. One comment by a German officer was, “They didn’t know how to live, but they sure knew how to die.” What a dishonor the men of the Allies must have felt, killing boys no older than their own children and even some girls. We know more about PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) today than they did just after WWII. How many of these men had to live with this trauma of killing children for the rest of their lives? Our family doesn’t talk about the war record of this writer’s oldest brother, but the likelihood of him suffering from PTSD is pretty high. One day he left his family and small children and was not heard from until he came home to die from the diseases that took his life at only middle age, probably because of living the life of a homeless person on the street. How many of these returning WWII veterans had similar experience? Would we be any different than Adolf Hitler if we forced our adversary combatants to kill women and face dishonor for doing so? This writer thinks that when we force our enemies to kill women, they will be even more inspired to put us out of business just as we put Adolf Hitler out of business.

In this early 21st century, the USA is facing a new adversary – one that is teaching their young boys and girls that killing themselves and the infidels (us) for their God is honorable and the right and expected thing to do. How are we going to handle a situation with a child wearing a suicide vest and looking to kill Americans?

Women can bear children. Men cannot bear children and cannot replace those lost in combat, and women can! This is one reason we keep the women and children out of harm’s way so that they can sustain the future of our country. Without women, the country will have no future. They are the only ones who can provide our country with a future and they must be kept out of harm’s way. It is so important to get this message it deserves repeating “Women are the future of our country”.

Case Study women in the Military:

When I was into middle age and I decided to follow a suggest path of study, by one of my most educated co-workers, and study Philosophy. I and my then girlfriend, and now partner, signed up for a night class in Philosophy at the local community college. The class was a mixture of young college age students and mature adults, taught by “a firstborn female” Philosopher. I mention “firstborn” as she had a close younger sister which would make her one of the most aggressive women in our society. She presented us with a class problem to solve in small groups. The ship we were sailing on in the ocean was sinking and we only had one life boat for all on board, only enough room for the female passengers and one male passenger. Who would the female passengers choose to be the man who would join them in the lifeboat, and who would go down with the ship. The majority of the women in our group were young and fully capable of reproducing our species. Being middle aged and much experiment in survival skills at sea and multi-skilled in several survival skills; navigation, search and rescue, and building skills; design and building a new community and leadership skills as well. The young women were concerned about my ability to reproduce the species, the function of women to the survival of the species. This group of young women chose a young man to go with them in the life boat. The speaker for this group addressed me directly “Maybe you can use all of your many skills to save the sinking ship”. Even our female instructor was amazed at the solution our group came up with quote “I know what they want”. She also expressed concern that “my future partner made no effort to support my case for going into the life boat”. This should have been a red flag to pay attention to as this is still an issue with us after twenty years into our partnership. The young women in our group were concerned about the survival of the species and they saw that as their primary duty on this earth! This is the reason we keep women out of harm’s way and when it comes down to choosing who should life and who should die, it is the women and children that must be saved so they can save our species!

Should we put our young women in close quarters with young men in the military – young men and young women still running on hormones and the effects of oxytocin? There was a reason that our ancestors did not allow women onboard a war ship – or any ship for that matter – where they were in clear view of the crew of the ship. We are conducting an experiment in our military by putting young women in close quarters with young men. How is this experiment progressing? The number of sexual assault cases pending for military courts is off the chart! Do we really think we can tame the very hormones that cause young people to overcome all the barriers that stand in their way and reproduce our species? Women have power over men and men have power over women. This is a fair fight and this is how the colony of Homo sapiens survives.

Should we put our young women in close quarters with young men in the Military; young men and young women who are still running on hormones and the effects of oxytocin, the survival of the species hormone?iv There was a reason that our ancestors did not allow women onboard a war ship or any ship for that matter where they were in clear view of the crew of the ship. We are conducting an experiment in our Military by putting young women in close quarters with young men. An experiment that could result in the loss of control of our country. How is this experiment progressing? The number of sexual assault cases pending for Military Courts is off the chart! The cases are backed up waiting to be heard by a Military Court. Can a Military Court think in any terms other than punishment? Do we really think we can tame the very hormones that cause young people to overcome all the barriers that stand in their way and reproduce our species? Women have power over men, men have power over women this is a fair fight and this is how the colonies of Homo Sapiens survive.

Case Study Reason and Logical Thinking:

I was convinced that women were highly emotionally motivated and had an absolute lack of skill in rational and analytical thinking when an officer in the Women’s World Cup organization demanded that the women soccer players get the same pay as the men soccer players. The news reporter verified the facts that the Men’s World Cup soccer players received 9% of the revenue and the women’s World Cup soccer players received 13% of the revenue. Only someone who is emotionally driven would conclude that the men were paid more than the women. It is true that the revenue for the Men’s World Cup was four times the revenue of the Women’s World Cup, which resulted in the men receiving three times the pay as the women. But it should not take a rocket scientist to deduce that the men were paid more than the women because the Men’s World Cup had four times as many spectators as the Women’s World Cup. This statement shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that most women are incapable of rational analytical thinking and therefore men should be paid more than women in areas of critical thinking.

Social consequences of Equal Pay for Equal Work

    :
The second argument is about the social impact of a family with a double income that inflates the value of all goods and service because of the direct value relationship of supply and demand. This makes it very difficult for a single income family to compete for goods and services against the buying power of the two income families. The cost of goods and services will reach the level of the two income family in all areas, home, food, supplies, gas, and health service and even the plumber. Just take a look at Maslow’s Pyramid of Hierarchy of Needs. At the bottom of the pyramid is “Food, Clothing and Shelter.” This is where single income families often end up – at the bottom of Maslow’s “Hierarchy of Needs”!v vi Payment to partners should therefore be adjusted so as not to put single income families into economic stress.

When two income families cause the price of all commodities in our society to rise to the level of demand for those commodities, the single income families – and single mothers in particular – need to earn extra income to compete for these commodities. If they are dealing with the public, and able to engage in a personal conversation with their clients, they are in a position to earn extra income by selling the personal information they can “gleam” from their clients as they were allowed to “gleam” the fields of wheat.vii Sellable information could be questions like when are you going on vacation, where do you live, what are the times your home is unattended, do you have items of value in your home? There is a black market for this information and these single mothers would be call solicitors of information. The two income families or their insurance companies pay their salaries in the form of insurance premiums and reimbursements for stolen property.

A Case Study of my mother an unpaid or low paid home keeper:

My mother was the oldest of six children of a first generation “spare the rod and spoil the child” Norwegian. She recounted hearing her teenaged brothers’ screams in the woodshed as they were administered the leather belt “for their own good” by her father. She graduated with honors from her high school and was given a reward for reading every book in her school library. She graduated from a girl’s school in Milwaukee; she was baptized as a teenager and married a doctor of veterinarian medicine. She raised four children; I was her last.
She worked in a local market in the dry goods department as their sales lady. She mentioned then how the men salesmen received more pay than she did for being in the same job classification. We had a lot of first generation Europeans, in our community, who didn’t believe in taking baths, and she related how she politely covered her nostrils to eliminate the stench while she served these European ladies. Were the salesmen this polite?

I am still amazed at how vast was my mother’s knowledge. I was learning to play golf at the local golf course, self-taught, and she accompanied me on the course because I was too young to play by myself. She commented on my golf swing, “When your feet feel like they want to move backwards, you have the swing right.” My mother is a woman and golf is a man’s game – how could my mother know anything about golf? In my early thirties, I began improving my golf swing. I obtained a golf book written by a golf playing engineer. He explained the golf swing in terms of physics, which was my minor in college, complete with stroboscopic photos of the perfect golf swing. He showed, on the driver, how the club head preceded the club shaft to the ball and stated that, “When you feel your feet wanting to slide backwards, you have the swing right.”

When I left home at the age of eighteen, leaving my Midwestern home for the coast of Oregon, she gave me her final going away instructions. “Stay away from this __________church denomination, they are too far off track and have not a chance of recovery.” My best friend, a girl, was brought up in this ___________denomination. I told her that I would write to her and let her know where I was. When I got to Oregon, I wrote her my first letter, and I never got a response. My mother joined the rest of us – my two sisters and families – in a small town near the Oregon coast. She brought news that my best friend, a girl, was upset with me not writing to her and she had expressed this to another of our classmates. I had no idea how to handle this situation with a gap of several thousand miles between us and, since I was afraid to try and contact her by phone, my oldest sister suggested that I enlist in the armed forces to get that behind me and earn credit on the GI Bill to go to college like my older brother (10 years older) had done in the Navy and then went to college on the GI Bill. I enlisted in the Air Force and, after boot camp in Texas and a few years in the Central Valley of California at a SAC Training Base, I was transferred to the South Pacific in support of the Vietnam War. One of my high school buddies came through our base on his way to Vietnam and he looked me up. We met at the Airman’s Club and he told me he had dated my best friend, who was a girl, and stated that all she could talk about was me. Not only that, he told me she was getting ready to marry the other fellow who was hanging around who grew up in the same ________________church denomination as my friend. “God how has thy forsaken me.” I had no idea how to handle this situation, I was in a war zone, and she has not responded to my letters. I solved the problem by going into the neighboring town to the base, got drunk as hell and started on a path of self-destruction. Some weeks or months later, I recovered from this path of self-destruction and enrolled in a correspondence course to prepare myself for college. I had taken an English and Algebra class when I was stationed in California, so I was now getting back on track for college.

I wrote a girl that I had met in Oregon; she was now at Lewis and Clark College. We corresponded for my duration in the South Pacific and she even sent me a photo of her to look at. She was of Methodist upbringing and the daughter of an owner of a logging company. She traveled to England as part of her college experience. When I returned to the states, we met at her home. We talked for several hours, smoking a pack of cigarettes, when her mother suggested that we wrap it up. We said goodbye, she went back to her college in the north and I went off to start college in the south. This is the last time we communicated with each other. She got me through the war and she is much appreciated for doing so; I may not have returned to the states if she had not answer my first letter. My mother was so right about these religious conflicts that were in the Midwest. I should have learned the lesson my mother gave to me on my departure from the Midwest when I was five years younger! “Stay away from those of this _______________denomination, they are too far off track and they have no chance of recovery.”

I returned to the USA and enrolled in a technical college and got a room in a ladies’ house who was renting out rooms. One of my roommates, former Air Force, was working at the local hospital and was sparking a neighbor girl and he needed someone to take care of her roommate when he went to her apartment for a visit just a block away from our boarding house. This roommate and I started dating; I took her to meet my mother at my oldest sister’s home in the valley of Oregon. My mother took me into the garage and said “Are you sure about this? She does not look like she is all there.” I made the excuse for her that she had recently lost her own mother in a family car accident, hit by a drunk driver, and she was still in recovery from this loss.

My mother had since married again after my father died while I was in my last semester of high school. She married her boyfriend of her youth who was also a widower. He found out she was on the west coast and came up from southern California to marry her. They did so by going to Reno and getting married, Reno style. At my first term’s break at college, I followed in my mother footsteps and we went to Reno and got married by a one-armed Justice of the Peace. She grew up in the same __________denomination church that my high school girlfriend had grown up in so I thought that she would be the equivalent of my high school girlfriend.

My daughter was born before I graduated from college and when I accepted a position at the prestigious national laboratory in Northern California, she filed for divorce (her father would not step foot into California; he had a bad experience there). She continued on this divorce course without me and without my consent; however she still sold all my personal property. I managed reconciliation after I had obtained living quarters in northern California. We got moved into my trailer along with my daughter and dog. I managed the purchase of a house by using my veterans benefits and we set up housekeeping. My son was born into this house and we managed with me bringing home the bacon and the wife serving her church.

We did okay until my wife had an operation that changed her personality to that of a verbal abuser. I still needed to support my family, so I found a house to share with another man and applied myself to my vocation as a Troubleshooter for the Energy Department. One of my co-workers suggested I attend a Christian Seminar in the Coliseum. I did, as I had no close relatives to help with this situation, and all my friends were also my co-workers. I knew our family
needed outside support so I joined a ______________church, as it turned out this _______________denomination was a longstanding enemy of my wife’s ___________________denomination. She filed for divorce again. I was on the east coast, performing my troubleshooting assignment for the Energy Department, during most of the divorce proceedings and when I returned home, she had her divorce, full custody of the children, the dog, the house, child support and alimony. I had “reasonable” visitation rights with the children.

On my first weekend back home from the east coast, I had the children for the weekend. On that Saturday night as the children and I were doing activities in my shared home and planning to go to my new church of _______________denomination, there was a hard knock on the door. I opened the door and my now ex-wife sticks her foot in the door and orders the children out of my house and into her waiting car! The children were not going to attend this ________________church on Sunday! So much for reasonable visitation rights, for it is in the eye of the beholder. I was told to find a lawyer; I did and we spent the next five years discussing child custody matters in the Superior Court. The now ex-wife even paid a visit to the pastor of my new church and “READ-HIM-OUT” for allowing her children to attend his church! I heard about this from my pastor.

I had no idea my mother was so knowledgeable, she was so well read that she knew that my now ex-wife’s church denomination and that of my high school girlfriend were “so far off track that they had no chance of recovery and that I should steer clear of them.” “My God, how hath thy forsaken me.” The moral of this case study is to listen to your mother, as she knows more than you will ever realize. But should she get paid for passing her knowledge onto the next generations? That is the question. Should mothers receive equal pay for equal work? If so, who is going to pay for all this work that a mother puts into her children?

      The Path to my Blog:

I became a Sunday school teacher for 17 years. I was just a vehicle for the church in that I took the information passed out by the church and relayed this information to my class. Being a researcher and troubleshooter by nature and profession, one Easter Sunday, it came to me that something was not right about this theology we were teaching on Easter Sunday. I wrote my first and only Sunday school lesson plan called “Believing without Seeing.” My pastor had moved on to a new church; in fact my present partner and I were united by him and his wife in his new church, during a bluegrass music campout in his new community. My Sunday school class director was not impressed with this new lesson plan that I had presented my table of three boys and a girl. As we were preparing for the next Easter Sunday’s lesson, I stated that I would come up with something for a lesson plan. I received a home visit from the church Sunday School Director and had my teaching credentials reduced to “Substitute Teacher only.” I had already been called to another church in our new neighborhood and we were actually doing double time in both churches. We completed our move to the new church. My lesson plan “Believing Without Seeing” had put me on a new path.

After about 18 years in this new church led by then three nonprofessional church members, there arose an opportunity to further my research into this idea that Jesus had come to this earth for some other reason (“Believing Without Seeing”) than what the Christian Church was putting forth. There was to be an intense study of the Book of Acts of the Apostles presented at this church and they were going to have Socratic discussions as parts of this study. I attended the introductory meeting and became aware of the great volume of material that I would be expected to read. I met with the now two professional pastors of the church and proposed that I be allowed to participate in the Socratic discussions in this program. Having studied philosophy in college, I knew what Socratic discussions were all about. I stated that I wanted to perform a research project on the Book of Acts using scientific methods or protocols. The Teaching Pastor stated that they did not “want any science around here.” I was referred to one of their adult Bible study classes, which miraculously was just beginning an in-depth study of the Book of Acts.

I soon learned that I was in this class to listen and not voice my opinion. Therefore, I chose to express my opinion on the web. These insights came from the information that was developing in this class led by three PhDs of various fields. Our leader a graduate of one of the nation’s esteemed universities, and he made it clear that he was the professor in charge of this class study group. We finished the Book of Acts at a pace of about one chapter per week. When we concluded the Book of Acts, I put all my insights of this information into my blog: http://anewparadigminchristianthinking.wordpress.com/ as “The Fast Track to the Gospel of Jesus” “The Pentecostal event”.

We began an in-depth study of I and II Corinthians and I recorded my insights under the heading “The Evolution to the Christian Church”:

    http://anewparadigminchristianthinking.wordpress.com/tag/eveoltion-of-the-church-part-I/ and https://anewparadigminchristianthinking.wordpress.com/tag/eveoltion-of-the-church-part-II/

This is still a work in progress as we are now having an in-depth study of the Book of Romans “How the Gospel of Jesus was Derailed” and “The Corruption of the Gospel of Jesus”. These papers will be published at the conclusion of this study of the Book of Romans. My mother knew all this information or at least some of it when I was still a young man!

    To be continued

Case Study, Emotional and Logical Thinking:

I was at a Farmers Market recently buying some corn on the cob. Two teenaged girls were speaking to the lady grower and asking her to “make sure there are no bugs in the corn.” Apparently they had opened a corn and found a bug or a slug. But they did not have any vision of what they were asking this lady grower to do! To eliminate all the bugs and slugs, she would
have to increase her use of pesticides on the corn. The pesticides would in turn run off into creeks and rivers and enter into the food chain through the fish that live in the water. This would greatly complicate our lives as we try to deal with the increase in water contaminated with pesticides. The mature lady grower knew of the consequences of using pesticides or at least the state statutes on the use of pesticides, but the two teenaged girls did not have a clue and we want these emotionally driven female teenagers to vote! Is this a matter of immaturity and experience or is it something to do with sexual identity? Do male teenagers have the ability of analytical thinking and would they make better voters?

      Women are Data Base Searchers:

Two Case Studies on Data Base Searches and hands-on solutions:

I have recently and in the past noticed that women depend on a data base to solve their problems, meaning they come up with the right part number to solve a problem. Men are more hands-on and will solve the problem using their hands. In one case, I was interacting with U-Haul on matching up my new receiver on my truck to a ball hitch at the right height. Two of the women I had contacted on the phone searched their data base for a solution. The last lady admitted she could not come up with a part number and referred me to their customer service number. This woman referred to her data base of U-Haul vendors in my zip code and directed me to the U-Haul Dealership. I met with a young man there who found the right hitch ball for my receiver with his hands, a tape measure and a wrench!

I had a similar experience with a local lock smith’s office. I needed a key made from a Ford style key to put into a programmable keyed lock; I did not have a Ford key. She could not find a part number in her data base so she could not accomplish the task. A male locksmith would have found a blank Ford key, put some keyways on the key and programed the lock with this new key! I ended up sending the lock back to the supplier and ordering a different lock!

There are Three Categories of Knowledge:

All of us have received knowledge from different sources and we received different knowledge from these different sources. The three sources of knowledge are Innate, Environmental and Acquired. Even children from the same family receive different innate knowledge from the same parents and a child, with siblings, of one family receives different environmental knowledge than their siblings. The firstborn into a family receives less innate knowledge than the lastborn into a family. The firstborn is raised by inexperienced parents, the lastborn by more experienced parents. The lastborn receives more innate knowledge from their more experienced parents than the firstborn. All the children in a family, no matter large or small, receive different environmental knowledge from their parents, siblings and community.viii

      Innate Skills:

Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. They have different innate skills and therefore will perform the same job assignment in different ways. We all had different parents with different skills and education. We did not enter into this world with a “white slate.” We came into this world inheriting skills and knowledge from our parents (a priori)ix Innatism and Nativismx.

      Two Case Studies Innate Skills:

Not even all men are the same, let alone all men and women being the same.xi On the TV show Jeopardy, a young man said he had “perfect pitch.” They played a note for him and he correctly named the note. He stated that his sister, father and grandfather all had perfect pitch.

When I was a young man on a USAF Flight Line in the South Pacific, my sergeant identified me as a troubleshooter. I not only got assigned to the tough troubleshooting jobs on the aircraft jet engines, but one day, I was picked up by my sergeant when I arrived on shift (a 12-hour shift). The other crew had been troubleshooting a jet engine on an aircraft all night and could not find the problem. On the way to the aircraft my Sargent told me the symptoms the engine was displaying and when we arrived at the front of the aircraft, I told my sergeant what the problem was and how to fix the engine. After I returned from the war, I graduated from college at the top of my class and was invited to join the staff at the prestigious national laboratory in Norther California. After 25 years of troubleshooting for the Energy and Defense Departments, I earned the reputation as the “Top Gun National Crises Troubleshooter.” I obviously received the visualization skills of a troubleshooter from my father who was a doctor of Veterinarian medicine, also a troubleshooter; “I had inherited my Troubleshooting Skills from my father”.

    Equal Pay for Equal Work?

How can we evaluate what is equal pay for men and women when they, in reality, are not performing the same job assignment, because they will approach the job differently with different skills and knowledge? We get classified into a job classification, possibly ranked according to our accomplishments, but that is as far as it goes to compensate workers for their contribution to the bottom line of the organization.

The only real judge of performance is the bottom line or the rate of return on investment produced by the different individuals and sexes. This bottom line needs to be evaluated differently for different job assignments. For professional soccer players, it seems to be the revenue they produce that is the guiding factor in evaluating equal pay for men and women. In the case of World Cup Soccer, the men received only 9% of the revenue and the women received 13% of the revenue. I assume this was an attempt at equal pay for equal work as the men’s revenue was four times the revenue of the women’s World Cup.

For the president of the USA, their ability to see the future of their decisions should be used to evaluate their compensation. Are they skilled in “Autonomous Reflection,” as were the Founding Fathers? No woman to date has established herself as an Enlightenment Philosopher, indicating that this is a man skill. Does the women’s intuition make up for a lack of this skill in reflection? Does the women’s making decisions by emotions equal that of decision making by the analytical process? There is much vagueness in who produces the best bottom line, be it in private enterprise, government entities, or social organizations, or of scientific research and, of course, surgeons and medical professions. The bottom line in any organization is what should drive the compensation structure, be it male or female. It’s the bottom line that counts for what kind of results they are producing.

    Job Classification:

For the rest of us, we are given a job classification, ranked according to our accomplishments and contributions to the organization we support and are compensated accordingly. But even this assumes one has been classified into the right job classification, and this was done by people unfamiliar with our personal history and was probably the result of the acquired education that we received, and not our innate skills or the skills developed from the environment that we grew up in. But we are classified only on our acquired knowledge and skills. They can measure our acquired knowledge by our degrees and GPA, but they cannot measure our innate, environmental knowledge and acquired knowledge outside the credited education system and thus the latter two are dismissed when it comes to assigning us a classification and we end up with an elitist society.

Case Study in an elitist society:

John Newton was an 18th century Evangelical preacher with the Church of England. He began life as the only son of a sea captain. His mother instilled in him the Gospel message until he was six years old, when his mother died. At the age of three, he was able to read fluently and memorize long passages of text. In his later years, he claimed he could then write, just as well as he did at age three! He was sent off to boarding school at the age of eight and into the merchant marines, aboard his father’s ship, at the age of ten, the end of his formal education. The slave trade was common place at this time and Newton, after many troubles and trials and a near sinking of the ship he was on during a strong North Atlantic storm. As mostly an outcast of society, he became very tough, mischievous and downright blasphemous. It was during this storm that he knelt and prayed to God for his grace and save him and the crew from certain death. After this experience, he spent many years on the sea with time to study the Bible and religious works of others, as he was involved with slave trading as the captain of a slave ship. He became a lay preacher in his community. When he had left the sea an accepted a position in the government as a duty officer for his home port in Liverpool, he was advancing in his home
schooling of the Gospel. He wanted to change vocations and become a preacher in the Church of England. The other dissenting churches he was friendly with but distanced from them. When he submitted his application for ordination in the Church of England, he was refused; he did not have a degree from Cambridge or Oxford (required in an elitist society) and his relationship with the dissenting churches was too close for the authorities of the Church of England. He came to the attention of a wealthy landowner with political power in the Church of England and because of him, John Newton was ordained, after several years of rejection, into the Church of England and given a Parish of which to minister. It was John Newton and another slave ship captain that was influential in the abolishment of slavery in Great Britain. An English Historian, George Macaulay Trevelyan, wrote this of John Newton: “Lord Dartmouth made interest in high Episcopal quarters to obtain the ordination of John Newton who was too much in earnest about religion to be readily entrusted with a commission to teach it – except as a matter of favor to a great man.” xii

    Conclusion:

Therefore, we are all in the same boat. We are all different and will all perform differently in the same job classification and are ranked differently in that classification according to our contribution to the organization and, in an imperfect elitist classification system as well.xiii.
